Miralem Pjanic and Alessandro Florenzi gave the visitors an early lead, with former Gunner Gervinho adding a third before the break. Alberto Gilardino pulled one back before the hour mark and Giancarlo Gonzalez added a second for the hosts in added time. Gervinho put the game beyond doubt a minute later as Roma took all three points.

Tjaronn Chery put the hosts in front but Wellington equalised the score in the 85th minute. Emmanuel-Thomas scored again in added time to seal a dramatic win for QPR.
