Our impressive form in the Premier League 2 continued on Saturday as we claimed a 2-2 draw on the road at table-topping Manchester City.

Coming into the game off the back of a 6-1 win at Chelsea, Kevin Betsy's side  were full of confidence but Arthur Okonkwo came to their rescue early on with a sharp save to deny Samuel Edozie.

Our goalkeeper was soon on hand again to deny the same City attacker, pushing his shot from a tight angle around the far post.

We grew into the game though, and Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand went close with a free kick that had home keeper Kieran Slicker scrambling to push it away.

The hosts finally broke the deadlock when Okonkwo turned away a James McAtee drive, but Oscar Bobb was able to turn in the loose ball.

But right on the stroke of half time we equalised in quite brilliant fashion, Salah collecting the ball midway into the City half, before driving towards goal and then curling a wonderful shot into the top corner.

Straight from kick off at the start of the second half we took the lead, as Ryan Alebiousu's low cross from the right flew across the box and Joel Lopez fired a first-time drive in off the post.

We could not hold on to the lead though, as Nico O'Reilly equalised for the hosts as he finished into the bottom corner after a scramble in our area.

There was still time for one final chance though, as Tim Akinola saw his shot saved at the end of a superb sweeping team move forward.

That proved to be that, and we had to settle for a draw from a richly entertaining match.
