Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's goals may be grabbing the headlines, but he knows full well how valuable Bernd Leno was in Sunday's victory over Everton.
Our Gabon international scored twice in the 3-2 win at Emirates Stadium in a game which saw Leno repeatedly come to the rescue to ensure we were victorious at the final whistle.
Auba and Bernd faced the Sky cameras together after the game - and this is what they said:
on a tough week...
PEA - It was a tough week and it was hard today to find some energy at the end of the week, but we did it and I think everybody is doing well and giving more than 100 per cent to win this game.
on us 'hanging on' at the end...
BL - Yes, I think you could see that our power was gone at the end and we were fighting, I think when you see our defence and with Auba, you could see how much he was running and yes, I was happy after this game because we deserved this after the week and we have to keep going like this.
on how important Bernd's saves were...
PEA - We are always happy to have him. He's saved us a couple of times at the right moment, so we are very happy to have him. We know that we can count on him and that's always good for us. He gives us some energy, some more energy to push and to give everything.
on Everton's second goal...
BL - Yeah, maybe I could be higher with my starting position but you know, as a goalkeeper it goes always very quickly and I think it was very unlucky for me and a little bit lucky from Richarlison. But in the end, it doesn't matter. We won this game and that's the most important thing.
on how good David Luiz's ball was for his first goal...
PEA - Great ball. I knew when I saw his face that he was committed with the ball and I just ran through the defence and then I was one against one and yeah, I love this.
on indecision at 3-2 about whether to push for a fourth goal or defend...
PEA - Yes, I think we tried to have some actions to score more goals but I think the most important was to not take another goal. So we were defending with everything, with our hearts.
on closing in on 50 goals in an Arsenal shirt...
PEA - I'm just happy. I'm always happy to be scoring goals and I have to give thanks to my teammates as always.
