Cheikhou Kouyate and Diafra Sakho gave the visitors a two-goal lead, but Danny Rose pulled one back before Harry Kane followed up his own missed penalty in the sixth minute of injury time to secure a point.

Glenn Murray then pulled one back in the fourth minute of injury time before hitting the post a minute later as Arsenal held out to secure three points.

Wellington was a 71st-minute substitute in Almeria’s 3-0 defeat in Madrid. Mario Mandzukic opened the scoring from the penalty spot and Antoine Griezmann’s double secured the win before half-time, despite Guilherme Siqueira’s late sending off.

Jon Toral played the final 30 minutes of Brentford’s 3-1 win against Bournemouth. Jonathan Douglas opened the scoring before Marc Pugh equalised. Alex Pritchard then restored Brentford’s advantage before Christopher Long sealed the win in the 90th minute.
