Wojciech Szczesny played the full 90 minutes of Roma’s 3-2 win against Genoa in Serie A. Mohamed Salah opened the scoring before Panagiotis Tachtsidis equalised before the break. Leonardo Pavoletti put the hosts in front on the hour mark, but their joy was shortlived as substitute Francesco Totti equalised 12 minutes later. Stephan El Shaarawy scored the deciding goal of the game minutes from the end.

Benjamin Nivet then converted a penalty after the break, but Cheick Diabate struck four minutes later to restore Les Girondins' two-goal lead.
