Lucas, Bramall, Asano and Nwakali in action

We had six players involved in matches over the weekend, with four getting minutes for their respective loan clubs. Scroll down to find out how they got on:

Lucas played the full 90 minutes in Deportivo La Coruna’s 1-0 win against Leganes, with the hosts picking up all three points thanks to a first-half header from Adrian Lopez.

Kelechi Nwakali played for just over an hour in VVV-Venlo’s 2-2 draw at Heerenveen. The visitors took the lead early on through Lennart Thy, before Denzel Dumfries levelled things up soon after. The hosts then raced into the lead following the break, courtesy of a strike from Henk Veerman, only for Ralf Seuntjens to bring VVV-Venlo level in the dying minutes.

Cohen Bramall played his first game in four months after recovering from an injury as Birmingham City were beaten 1-0 by Fulham. Sheyi Ojo scored the only goal of the game in the first half, while Bramall played 89 minutes for the Blues.

Takuma Asano played in the final five minutes of Stuttgart’s 2-0 loss at home to Bayer Leverkusen. The visitors went into the lead midway through the first half thanks to a goal from Kai Havertz and added to their lead following the break through Lars Bender.

Stephy Mavididi was on the bench in Preston North End’s 2-1 win at Burton Albion. The visitors broke the deadlock through Tom Clarke shortly after the hour mark and doubled their lead with a strike from Daryl Horgan, before Lucas Akins pulled one back late on for the hosts.

Emi Martinez was an unused substitute in Getafe’s 0-0 draw at SD Eibar.
