We have transformed our online retail site, ArsenalDirect.com, to meet the increasing demands and expectations of supporters globally.
These changes follow an extensive research project into the needs, motivations, shopping habits and engagement preferences of supporters when shopping online.
As a result, fans can now buy official kit, training wear and accessories on any device in three new currencies, euros, US dollars and Australian dollars, as well as British pounds.
The development is the latest in the transformation of the club’s retail capabilities with software company, SAP Hybris Commerce which has seen the following results:
- 86% increase in mobile transactions
- 42% increase in sales as a whole
- 48% increase in sales outside the UK
- Page load time reduced by 57%
Simon Lilley, the club’s Retail Director, said: “Our new e-commerce platform has helped provide a speedy and reliable shopping experience for our supporters. Results have been fantastic and we will continue to build on this to meet the needs of fans wherever they are in the world and however they choose to shop.”
