We've played more than 50 games in 2017 - and our club photographers have been with the first team every step of the way, taking thousands of pictures.

Read on to see five of David Price's favourite images from the year, and find out what made them special to him.

David says: "For me this picture summed up the team and particularly Rob's performance in that final. It was the moment that Rob introduced himself to Diego and kind of said 'yes, you are a top player but today I’m going to show you what I’m about'. It set the tone for the rest of the match."

David says: "I’ve tried to get a picture like this before, but this is the best one. Arsenal’s record signing being hunted down by the Junior Gunners. It just makes me smile."

Per Mertesacker on the North Bank stairs

David says: "It’s always nice to photograph the players in a different location to the training ground. I had the chance to take Per up to the upper terrace and as we were walking around he said he’d never been up there and he loved the view of the pitch. I like this picture because its Per who has immersed himself in Arsenal sitting in front of a very popular Arsenal chant. “We’re the North Bank.”

David says: "It’s always nice to get a great celebration picture. This was the equaliser against Leicester. I love how high Aaron jumps and that he is nearly up with the floodlights."

David says: "I just like this shot because both the players are called Sanchez and the huge difference in size. Although Alexis is crouching it's still a striking contrast."
