Club organises extra travel for Hull (a)

KC Stadium - Hull City ground

The club has organised a specially-chartered train and subsidised coach travel for the forthcoming Bank Holiday Monday match against Hull City.

Arsenal travel to the KC Stadium on Monday, May 4, with an 8pm kick off on the Bank Holiday. The match was moved to accommodate TV requirements, but the late kick-off time on a Bank Holiday meant that Arsenal supporters were unable to travel back to London by train, due to the lack of scheduled train services from Hull.

However, in order to help the situation the club has organised a privately chartered train, in addition to subsiding coach journey prices to provide options for travelling supporters.

The chartered train service has 510 seats available, and leaves London King’s Cross at 3pm on Monday, May 4, travelling directly to Hull. The return journey will depart Hull at approximately 10.45pm, travelling directly back to London King’s Cross, arriving at approximately 1.30am. The ticket cost is £20 for a standard return and £30 for a first class return ticket.

Subsidised coaches will also travel to the KC Stadium and back on matchday, with three pick-up points en route to Hull. The ticket cost is £10.

Supporters’ liaison officer Mark Brindle said: “Following the date change of the Hull City away match for TV, it became clear that many Arsenal supporters would struggle to get back to London after the match.

"We wanted to help our many loyal away fans and we’re delighted that we’ve been able to organise the chartered train and cheaper coach travel. We hope many fans will use these services on Bank Holiday Monday.”

Train and coach tickets are on sale now. For further detailed information and booking details, please visit www.arsenal.com/travel.
