Arsenal Under-19s kicked off their Uefa Youth League campaign with a 2-0 victory in Dortmund on Wednesday afternoon.
Kaylen Hinds' first-half brace proved decisive for a young Gunners side captained by Alex Iwobi and featuring Gedion Zelalem.
Hinds opened the scoring after 14 minutes following Dan Crowley's assist, and Arsenal's No 9 added a second just after the half-hour mark, combining with Chris Willock before doubling the advantage.
