Arsenal Heritage Range

Petr Cech, Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil recently got their hands on some of our new heritage range shirts celebrating key moments across the club’s history.

Petr Cech is wearing the Vintage long sleeve polo inspired by the home shirt that was worn by the club for over 20 years from 1933- 1957. The shirt was originally all red with a white collar but was developed by the club’s iconic manager, Herbert Chapman, who added the contrasting white sleeves.

The Anfield 1989 polo, worn by Olivier Giroud, that celebrates the iconic 1989 match at Anfield.  George Graham's side needed to beat Liverpool by two goals to take the title back to Highbury.  Arsenal defied the odds, taking the lead through Alan Smith's header before Michael Thomas wrote his name in club folklore with that famous stoppage-time strike.

Mesut Ozil is showcasing the Double winners polo inspired by the club’s 1997/1999 away shirts worn during their double success of the 1997/98 season and Arsène Wenger’s first full season in charge.

These shirts and more are now on sale as part of our Heritage range, available on ArsenalDirect.com and in official club stores.
