Wojciech Szczesny says that Arsenal’s 4-1 win against Galatasaray is the blueprint for how they must perform in Europe.
Danny Welbeck scored a hat trick, with Alexis Sanchez claiming the other, as the Gunners claimed their first win of the Champions League group stage. The only negative was Szcznesy’s red card, which rules him out of Wednesday night’s game against Anderlecht in Brussels.
While the Poland international is disappointed to miss out, he is confident that Arsene Wenger’s side have the quality to secure a positive result.

“It was brilliant against Galatasaray - it was a very complete performance,” Szczesny told Arsenal.com. “If you take out my sending off, it was perfect!
“We defended really well, we scored four very good goals and it was obviously a good day for Danny as well. So it was a very enjoyable game for us.
“We have two games against Anderlecht next and we are looking forward to them. Hopefully after that we will have put ourselves in a good position but we realise how important these games are and we are up for it.
“If we play at the level we did against Galatasaray, we should be able to get the result.”
