Pre-Match Report

Ladies: Birmingham v Arsenal - Preview

Plenty of things have changed since Kim Little's first spell at the club, which came to an end in 2013.

After marking her return with a goal in Sunday's 10-0 win over north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Little now has her sights set on going all the way in the SSE Women’s FA Cup.

Even with Birmingham City - who we will face on Sunday - standing between Pedro Martinez Losa's side and a spot in the semi-finals, the Scotland international believes the final's move to Wembley Stadium is a massive bonus for the competition.

"For all the years I played in this competition previously, the final was played up north or in the Midlands," Little told Arsenal.com.

"So I think it’s great that it’s at Wembley now. It’s an extra incentive to get there. Of course we want to get back there and retain our title.

“We want to put in a performance next weekend p[against Birmingham City in the quarter-finals] and hopefully we can get to the final at Wembley.

"Pedro [Martinez Losa] wanted us to be ruthless and go at Tottenham, not to take our foot off the pedal,” she added.

“We had a bit of a slow start to the second half but then we got going again and scored another four goals. I think that’s good for us and it’s good that a lot of different players got on the scoresheet as well."
