Hector Bellerin says confidence is high among Arsenal’s NextGen Series squad ahead of finals weekend in Lake Como.

Serge Gnabry’s superb strike on Monday night booked the Gunners’ place in the semi-finals of the competition at the expense of the highly-fancied CSKA Moscow.

Having already accounted for holders Inter Milan in the last 16, Bellerin is adamant Terry Burton’s side can now go all the way.

“CSKA are a really good team, we saw some videos during the week and their pressing was impressive,” he told Arsenal.com. “They are a team who would never get tired, but we knew how to play them and the coaches gave us good advice.

“Now we feel like we can beat anybody, we don't care who it is. We have been defending really well recently, including in the under-21s, and every day we feel more comfortable at the back.

“We just need to keep showing the same character. We are not scared of any team because after what we have done over the past two games, we know we can do anything.”

Bellerin enjoyed the experience of playing at Emirates Stadium, and thanked the supporters for making it such a special occasion.

“It was unbelievable, it was the best that we have played there,” he said. “I am very thankful for the people who came because it was really cold, and they made a big effort.

"I hope we made them proud and now we’re all looking forward to playing again in the stadium.”
