We will kick-off the series against Chelsea on Sunday, in a first-of-its-kind pre-season curtain-raiser to the 2021/22 season. Funds raised from the series will be split between Mind and the respective club foundations that deliver projects to support mental health and wellbeing in communities at home and overseas.

Arsenal Women will take on Chelsea Women at 12.15pm (UK) and The Mind Series will kick-off at 3pm with the men’s team. You can catch both fixtures via Arsenal.com for £7.99. Passes are on sale now with £4 (inc VAT) from each pass being split between Mind and The Arsenal Foundation.

Arsenal will face Tottenham Hotspur in the final game of the series on Sunday, August 8 at 2pm with the women’s team kicking off their fixture afterwards at 4.45pm. Passes to these games will also be on sale and once again, £4 (inc VAT) from each pay per view pass will be split between Mind and The Arsenal Foundation, with 25 per cent of this amount being donated to Mind and 75 per cent being donated to The Arsenal Foundation.

*Each organisation will use its donation to further its charitable and community activities.

The Mind Series announcement

Why are our clubs coming together to support better mental health with Mind?

Demand for Mind’s services, including its Infoline, has increased exponentially during the pandemic, with latest figures released by the Office for National Statistics showing one in five adults experiencing symptoms of depression, compared to one in 10 prior to the pandemic.

Mind’s own survey of 16,000 people during the initial lockdown also found that two in three young people (68 per cent) and three in five adults (60 per cent) said their mental health had got worse.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are uniting with Mind to raise vital funds, using our joint global reach and platforms to promote mental health awareness as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.

*Mind (The National Association for Mental Health) is a charity with registered charity number 219830, set up to promote better mental health and relieve the needs of those with mental health problems. The Arsenal Foundation is a charity with registered charity number 1145668 and uses the power of football and the Arsenal name to inspire and support young people in north London and across the globe.

Donation amount may be adjusted for VAT where applicable.
