Toral claims assist in Rangers win

Jon Toral played the full 90 minutes and claimed an assist as Rangers won 4-0 against Hamilton Academical. Emerson Hyndman opened the scoring, before Toral set up Clint Hill for the Gers’ second goal. Martyn Waghorn then scored from the penalty spot before Lee Wallace wrapped things up.

Wojciech Szczesny played the full 90 minutes as Roma won 3-1 at home to Sassuolo in Serie A. Gregoire Defrel gave the visitors the lead, before Leandro Paredes, Mohamed Salah and Edin Dzeko scored for the hosts.

Jack Wilshere came on in the 75th minute as Bournemouth beat Swansea City 2-0. Benik Afobe scored for the Cherries after an Alfie Mawson own goal had earlier given them the lead.

Chuba Akpom was a 74th-minute substitute as Brighton & Hove Albion lost 2-0 to Leeds United. Chris Wood struck twice to earn Leeds the win.

Takuma Asano was a 71st-minute substitute in Stuttgart’s 1-0 loss to Greuther Furth. Veton Berisha scored the game’s only goal.

Ismael Bennacer played 72 minutes as Tours picked up a 4-0 win over Valenciennes. Thibaut Cillard scored the first goal before a Cheick Diarra hat-trick.

Gedion Zelalem came on in the 72nd minute in VVV-Venlo’s 5-2 loss at Dordrecht. Vito van Crooij gave Venlo the lead, before Joel Thomas drew the hosts level. Joey Sleegers restored the lead for the visitors, before Jordy Vleugels, Everson Pisas, Alessio da Cruz and Thomas struck for the hosts.

Dan Crowley played the entirety of Go Ahead Eagles’ 3-1 loss to PEC Zwolle. Pedro Chirivella gave the Eagles the lead, but Django Warderdam, Queesny Menig and Bram van Polen swung the game for Zwolle.

Kelechi Nwakali played the full 90 minutes in MVV Maastricht’s 1-1 draw with Telstar. Stefan O’Connor was an unused substitute. Luis Pedro gave Maastricht the lead before Jordy Tutuarima’s leveller.
