Highlights: Arsenal beaten at home by Everton

We slipped to a disappointing home defeat to Everton on Friday night after an own goal by Bernd Leno.

We started brightly and Bukayo Saka had a snapshot saved after good build-up play, before Leno made a full-length diving save to deny Richarlison on the half-hour mark during a tightly-contested first half.

We were awarded a penalty in the second half when Dani Ceballos was tripped in the box by Richarlison, but Nicolas Pepe was adjudged to be offside and it was chalked off by VAR.

Calum Chambers then struck a shot over the bar from inside the area, and Ceballos crashed a stinging shot at goal from outside the area but it was palmed away by Jordan Pickford.

But with less than 15 minutes remaining, the visitors hit us on the break as Richarlison got past Granit Xhaka in the box and hit a low cross that hit Leno and went through his legs and in.
