Jordan Nobbs played the full 90 minutes of England's 2-1 friendly win against Spain. Marta Torrejon’s own goal opened the scoring for the visitors, before Steph Houghton fired home a free-kick minutes later. Torrejon made amends for her earlier mistake shortly after the Lionesses’ second, but Mark Sampson’s side held onto their lead. Fara Williams came on as a late substitute. Nobbs also played the full 90 minutes of England’s goalless draw against France, while Alex Scott came on in the 71st minute.

Verena Faißt and Lena Petermann struck after the break to condemn the Netherlands to a loss. Dominique Janssen was introduced as a late substitute. Danielle van de Donk featured in the Netherland’s emphatic 7-0 friendly win against Scotland. Lineth Beerensteyn, Renée Slegers, Ellen Jansen, Shanice van de Sanden, Jackie Groenen all hit the target, while two goals from Vivianne Miedema rounded off the scoring.
