Congratulations to Joe Montemurro, who has been named as the LMA’s Manager of the Month for March in the Women’s Super League.
We kicked off our month by thrashing Bristol City 4-0 and Liverpool 5-1, before digging deep to secure a vital 1-0 win over Birmingham City on the road.
As a result, we’ve maintained our place at the top of the Women’s Super League table, despite playing one games less than second place Manchester City.
“A successful March was always going to be critical to achieving our goals for the season,” Montemurro told the LMA. "I'd like to recognise the commitment and dedication of the players and the staff who share in this award. Thank you to all involved."
