Ballot process for reduced capacity fixtures

Emirates Stadium

We are delighted to confirm our plans to safely welcome 2,000 fans to Emirates Stadium for our forthcoming home fixtures, starting with our Premier League match against Burnley on Sunday, December 13.

The information and ticketing process detailed below is relevant to our fixtures for the foreseeable future from Burnley onwards. This will be the case until COVID-19 restrictions change or until we communicate new information.

Our priority is to run a high quality and safe event with the best possible ticketing process for fans. We thank you all for your continued understanding and patience as we continue to adapt to the evolving situation.

Please note, the information below relates to our home fixtures from the Burnley match onwards. This information is not relevant to our Europa League fixture against Rapid Vienna this Thursday. You can find information about the Rapid Vienna fixture here.

Ticketing ballot for Burnley and beyond

Starting with the Burnley game, Gold and Premium members who made their Initial Payment and registered for the ballot in September (“Ballot Registered Members”) will be entered into a ballot process, which will be run and communicated on a match-by-match basis.

The first ballot, for our match against Burnley, will take place on Monday, December 7.

Shortly after this first ballot, you will be sent an email to confirm whether you have been successful or not. If successful, your registered payment card will be charged between Monday, December 7 and Tuesday, December 8

Ballot Registered Members will have the opportunity to opt-out on a match-by-match basis if they are unable to attend certain games. We have determined that this is beneficial to our fans while we are operating at such a significantly reduced capacity. Once capacities increase beyond 4,000, we will review our approach and communicate accordingly.

In order to remove yourself from the ballot for the Burnley fixture, you must access your eTicketing account and complete the process by 12pm (GMT) on Friday, December 4. Deadlines to opt out of further fixtures will be communicated in due course.

Please note if you choose to remove yourself from a ballot for any fixture, you must re-register on eTicketing in order to be included in ballots for future fixtures.

Ballot eligibility

Once you have been successful in the ballot, you will not be successful for a future game until all other Ballot Registered Members have won tickets to a game. This is to provide all Ballot Registered Members the fairest opportunity of attending a fixture.

Seating allocation and ticket pricing

While our capacity is limited to 2,000, Gold members will be allocated seats in the lower tier and Premium members will be allocated seats in Club Level.

Ticket prices are based on the equivalent season ticket match-by-match pricing for the relevant category of games. You can see the pricing chart here

If you are successful in the ballot, you/your group will be automatically allocated seats in the relevant area. For Premier League games, you will be seated next to individuals in the group you registered with.

Please remember, it is your responsibility to ensure that your group is adhering to current UK Government guidelines on mixing households. If you registered for the ballot in September and your situation has now changed, meaning you need to amend your group, you can do this by contacting the Service Centre on 0207 619 5000.

Please ensure you contact us by 12pm GMT on Friday, December 4 if you wish to amend your group before the Burnley fixture.

Unfortunately, due to reduced capacity, high demand and social distancing measures, we can’t guarantee your regular seat.

Can members still enter the ballot process?

Gold and Premium members on a season ticket holiday can still become Ballot Registered Members for the Burnley ballot and beyond. By making the Initial Payment and registering for the ballot before the deadline at 12pm GMT on Friday, December 4 you will be entered into the ballot. Members will be sent an email detailing how they can do this.

Carabao Cup, Emirates FA Cup and Europa League fixtures

Ballots for all matches, regardless of competition, will be run in the manner detailed above while at such reduced capacity. We have determined that this is the fairest and most efficient to allocate tickets. We will communicate any changes in advance of a ballot being run for fixtures in any of these competitions.

Your safety

Your Print at Home ticket will only be activated once the health questionnaire and track-and-trace form have been completed. All supporters attending matches at Emirates Stadium will be required to complete an online health questionnaire and a track-and-trace form prior to the match.

Supporters aged 14 and above must bring photo ID as you may be required to prove you are the named ticket holder to gain entry to the stadium

These regulations are based on a set of Premier League-approved criteria for stadium entry. All necessary documentation will be emailed to you if you are successful in the ballot. This is in conjunction with UK Government and Premier League guidelines.

Furthermore, all fans must agree to be bound by and comply with the following Code of Conduct and adhere with all relevant ticketing terms and conditions. It is essential that you take your time to read these documents carefully.

These are clearly exceptional circumstances and the health, safety and security of everyone is our top priority. When fans return to Emirates Stadium, our robust safety procedures will be in place to protect us all. This includes the introduction of new hygiene measures and intensive cleansing routines, many of which were vigorously tested at our recent screenings of the Manchester City and Manchester United matches.

Thank you to our key workers

We will be forever indebted to the NHS and other key workers who have worked so tirelessly to keep us safe in recent months. We are taking steps to ensure that our heroes will be sufficiently rewarded with the opportunity to watch our matches in the weeks and months ahead.

Arsenal Women

Information will be communicated soon around the return of fans to Boreham Wood to support Arsenal Women.

Thank you for your support

This has been a challenging time for everyone and we want to thank you for your support, patience and understanding. We can’t wait to welcome you back, even though it will be a small number of fans initially.
This is an important step forward, but we are continuing to work with the Premier League and the UK Government to increase our attendances, which would also enable us to accommodate more fans in Emirates Stadium and open ticket access to more membership groups. Until this can be done, we appreciate the disappointment that many of you will feel if you miss out on attending games.

If you have any further questions, please check out our FAQs here

We look forward to seeing you at Emirates Stadium soon.

From everyone at Arsenal.
